Welcome to my little corner of the internet!
I am the creator and voice of Today A Reader…What started as a love of reading as a child morphed into a love of reading books to my own children and a quest to share my love of books with my son who has dyslexia and struggles to read. After listening to hundreds of books with my son on our long drive to and from school, I have a clear idea of books that kids will love and books that you will love reading to them. I want to help you foster a love of reading in your kids and share the books we love with you and your family. I will also share some of the books that I am reading when I’m not engrossed in children’s books.
I live in Florida with my husband, Ed, and two kids who are the inspiration for this blog. Honey Bear is 11 and Bud just turned 9. I love to read, of course, but I also love to bake and decorate sugar cookies, travel, eat, ski, and educate others about dyslexia.
